Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of the Anime Empire Discord bot ("the bot", "we", "us"). By using the bot or being in a server where it runs, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. Who can use the bot

The bot is a private bot for the Anime Empire Discord server only. You must follow Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and the server's rules. If the bot is added to any other server, it leaves automatically.

2. Acceptable use

Don't use the bot to:

• harass, spam, or scam others, or get around moderation;
• share illegal content, or content you don't have the right to share;
• abuse, overload, or try to exploit the bot or the services it relies on;
• impersonate others or misuse features such as custom chatrooms or role pings.

3. Moderation

The bot automatically moderates the server. It may delete messages and time out members who post scam content or mass image spam. Staff may also use the bot's moderation tools. Moderation decisions are made under the server's rules, and you can appeal to staff.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting artwork or media in the server's showcase channels, you allow Anime Empire to repost it, credited to you, in the server and on Anime Empire's official Instagram and X (Twitter) accounts. You can withdraw this permission at any time by asking staff or emailing us. We'll stop featuring your work and remove posts we control.

Only post content you made, or have the right to share.

5. Custom chatrooms

If you create a custom chatroom, you're responsible for what happens in it. Server staff can edit or delete any chatroom that breaks the rules.

6. Availability

The bot is provided free and "as is". It may go offline, change, or lose features at any time, and we don't guarantee it will be available or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Anime Empire and its staff aren't liable for any loss or damage from using or being unable to use the bot, including lost data or content, or actions taken by third-party services.

8. Termination

We may restrict or stop your access to the bot, or remove you from the server, if you break these terms or the server's rules.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the bot handles your data.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date shows the latest version. If you keep using the bot after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
